A word from the President

Dear Music Lovers,

It is with great pleasure that I invite you to discover the Association of the Friends of l’Orchestre des Nations.

Here, music is much more than a passion. It is a bond. A dialogue. An opening to the world. A shared experience.

At the heart of International Geneva, the Orchestre des Nations brings together highly accomplished musicians and guest artists through the universal language of symphonic music.

Remarkably, all of its musicians are volunteers, each pursuing their own professional career. This commitment enables the Orchestra to dedicate the resources it generates to philanthropic initiatives. Since its creation in 2011, more than CHF 230,000 have been donated to initiatives supporting people affected by disasters, children’s well-being, education and health in different regions of the world.

Founded in 2014, the Association aims to bring together an international community of music lovers who share a commitment to music, culture and philanthropy. Attending rehearsals, taking part in the “Immersion” events, travelling together and enjoying other gatherings all provide opportunities to experience the Orchestra from close up and to build meaningful connections.

By becoming a Friend of l’Orchestre des Nations you support its development, its collaborations with renowned artists and its support for young talents. You also contribute to its philanthropic mission, giving music a purpose that reaches far beyond the concert stage.

My experience in the international and philanthropic spheres has shown me how essential it is to build bridges across borders and cultural differences. Music has precisely this unique power to bring people together.

Together, let us make every concert more than a musical experience: a moment of connection, emotion and hope at the heart of International Geneva.
