The Geneva Women’s Associations Liaison Center (CLAFG), in partnership with the Geneva Association of University Women Graduates (AGFDU) and the Orchestra of Nations (ODN), under the direction of its founder Antoine Marguier and guest conductor Silvina Peruglia, is delighted to present a project aimed at promoting female leadership in the field of classical music. The masterpieces of five renowned female composers will be performed in an extraordinary concert, where the soloists, including the conductor, are promising young female performers. This concert will culminate in an exceptional event: the world premiere of the Concerto No. 3 for Piano and Orchestra by Geneva composer Caroline Boissier-Butini. The score is being specially edited for the occasion, thanks to the Geneva association CBB (Caroline Boissier-Butini). The concert will take place on October 11, 2024, in the context of the International Day of the Girl, thus promoting awareness of the artistic and professional possibilities for young women.
